I’m Marta, born in Barcelona.

Des de fa poquet també sóc mare de la Bruna. Des de que tinc ús de raó m’agrada escoltar els altres i ajudar-los. Crec que per aquest motiu, les meves dues professions, la infermeria i la psicologia, encaixen tant amb mi.

I came closer to the world of childhood through my professional career as a nurse, where I developed and specialized in the areas of gynecology, obstetrics, and neonatology. Later, when I finished my psychology degree, I specialized in Early Intervention and Child and Adolescent Psychology from a cognitive-behavioral perspective, where I have continued to work and train.

Over time, I had the opportunity to work as a psychologist in an assisted reproduction center, where I discovered and trained in everything involved in the pre-conception stage, for the woman as well as for the couple and future family. At that moment, I felt that many pieces were falling into place, and I expanded my professional focus toward women. Això m’ha portat a formar-me més en el treball amb adults i també en patologies mèdiques relacionades amb la dona, amb la intenció d’oferir una psicoteràpia integral i amb una mirada amplia.

I hope to meet you soon, listen to you, and above all, be able to help you.

I’m Blanca. I’m from Barcelona. I’m a nurse and a doctor specializing in Psychiatry with a clinical, teaching, and research career in the health field spanning over 15 years. I’m a mother to Marcel and Alicia.

Motherhood has transformed me personally and professionally, which has further increased my desire to understand the neurobiological processes that accompany the perinatal period. I am especially interested in understanding how these changes transform the maternal brain, and how they impact the mother’s mental health, the establishment of the mother-baby bond, and the baby’s psycho-emotional development.

Providing good support for the mother-baby dyad, early detection of mental disorders, access to rigorous and well-indicated psychopharmacological treatment, and a multidisciplinary approach are key elements of my professional outlook.
