I’m Mireia, from Barcelona.

I’m a feminist, researcher, and science communicator, and I’m currently finishing my PhD in lactation at the University of Barcelona. I’ve specialized in lactation and parenting support programs, both in clinical and home settings, developing inclusive tools to offer support to families from diverse cultures and backgrounds.

I support women so that, with self-confidence, they can face challenges and find solutions to the difficulties that arise. I offer a safe space to feel heard and supported, allowing them to regain confidence and personal strength to enjoy motherhood with peace, fulfillment, and love.

Over the years, the fight for women’s rights in relation to breastfeeding has become the core of my vocation. Beyond responding to the challenges of postpartum, breastfeeding, or parenting—and sustaining these processes in high-risk situations for families—I work to ensure respectful care centered on each woman’s needs.

I support any type of feeding—breastfeeding, mixed, or formula—with freedom and respect for each family’s needs. I defend women’s rights and contribute to building fairer, healthier, and more empathetic environments.

Neonatal nurse (Reg. 98.975)
International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC L - 318183)

Support for all types of feeding (breastfeeding, mixed, and formula) - Online visits / online parent groups - Spanish and English

  • Neonatal nurse at Hospital Clínic de Barcelona (2022-2025).
  • Currently working in the Neonatal ICU at Hospital Puerta del Sur, Madrid.
  • Master’s degree in neonatal and pediatric intensive care (2022).
  • Certification in the lactation consultant training program (2024).
  • International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC L-L-318183) (2025).

I’m Alicia, I’m from Ávila, and I’m passionate about breastfeeding. Since I started my journey in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, I discovered the enormous value that infant feeding, breast milk, and contact with the mother have in the recovery of little ones, especially when they come into the world early as premature babies. Seeing how this bond promotes their well-being sparked a deep admiration and curiosity for lactation, which over time has become my vocation.

I don’t believe in judgments or one-size-fits-all solutions. Every family is unique and deserves its own respectful and personalized approach. I’m here to support you so you can experience breastfeeding in an informed, calm way, connected to your desires and needs. My consultations are based on respect, active listening, and empathy. I firmly believe that when a woman feels supported and confident, she can find the tools and strength within herself to enjoy this very special stage.
